Isabella Beeton, better known as Mrs Beeton, became a household name in the 1800s thanks to her famous book, Mrs Beeton's Book of Household Management.
Published in 1861, her guide was much more than a cookbook — it was a complete manual for running a Victorian home, covering everything from recipes and budgeting to childcare and etiquette.
Despite her lasting legacy, Isabella sadly passed away before she was 30 years old. Yet her work continued to shape households for generations and remains one of the most influential domestic guides ever written.
