Reminder! Sunday 24 May 2026 is Kings Birthday Bakeoff day! This year it is being held in the Arts Society building - between the Settler Cottage and the Madill shed here at Firth Tower Reserve and Museum. Once again, we'll have Mrs. Shirley Frew QSM as judge, with prizes of chocolate bars, honey, and Firth Tower tea towel for winners!
This year we have an extra category for bakers.
Division 1 – Victoria Sponge
Division 2 – Wildcard – Cake and baked goods
Division 3 – Children – cake and baked goods
Division 4 – Allergy – Gluten/Dairy free – cake and baked goods
Bake an entry or simply come along for the shared afternoon tea where we'll serve up all of the entries plus a cuppa (for a gold coin donation). Want to take a look around the museum while you're here? $5 admission all day! It's going to be a fun afternoon!
