Group visits at Firth Tower Reserve and Museum. A few weeks ago, we hosted a group of adult students from Norway. Every year a group of lucky students from Folkejogskolen Solandet get to spend a couple of weeks in New Zealand, enjoying some of the popular tourist activities as well as learning a little of our culture. This was their first visit to Firth Tower, and they chose to have a facilitated Victorian School lesson as well as a good look around the museum buildings and artefacts. This was interesting as we couldn't fit them at the school desks in the Gordon School! One student in particular was quite excited when she came across the farm machinery. Turns out she is about to take over the family farm back home!
Group visits are always a fun time here at Firth Tower. Whether you choose to have facilitated activities or do your own thing. Taking a trip back in time and learning how life used to be or evoking old memories of visiting grandma and grandad at the farm. Visit our website to make a booking for your next group outing. Bring a picnic and stay a while!
