We are happy to open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for private bookings and school groups, please contact us for more details.
Admission PricesAdmission is $5 adults, $1 Children, $3 Seniors on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Museum hours are 10am to 4pm. Museum is closed Tuesday & Wednesday. We are happy to open for pre-booked bus trips and tours. A charge of $3 per person for trips & tours applies.
Prices subject to change without prior notice. Eftpos facilities are not available on site. Members of the New Zealand Motor Caravan Association are welcome to park overnight on our carpark. Power is available for up to six motorhomes at $5 per night, and there is a black water dump site at $5 per dump (we are on septic tank). Next nearest free dump site is in Matamata at Railside on the Green.
Over night stopover charges are $2 each adult, children free. There are no shower facilities. Key to toilets and/or power available if you arrange before 4pm-phone 07 888 8369.
New Zealand Motor Caravan Association members are welcome to hold weekend camps. These can be held in the rear area of the estate's park. The charge of $5 per night per person includes the use of the Heritage Centre with chairs, trestles, heaters and a mini
kitchenette for tea coffee and simple food preparation. BYO Barbecue
